Abstract

I Class Power on Zero-Hours i is a book written by a collective of worker-activists - the I Angry Workers of the World i - who are participating in a workers' self-inquiry. But, for that huge leap forward to happen, we suggest that the workplace immersion movement must now forge ahead with developing theoretical and practical tools for conducting I intersectional workers' inquiries i , moving, once and for all, beyond the phantom of the (male) industrial (time and space-bound) worker. More to the point, this is a rare example of workers' self-enquiry, written by worker-activists immersed in workplaces. i ' Overall, I Class Power on Zero Hours i is truly exceptional and unparalleled, set apart from other works that may claim to present workers' inquiries "from above" (or any other spacial neologism conjured up to justify lack of that indispensable, direct, person-to-person association between the researcher/agitator and the worker/subject of the inquiry).
