Abstract
- The article explores the origins of Sol, a side table by Ortega Guijarro principals Carlos Guijarro and Alex Ortega for ClassiCon, began three years ago when the two chanced to meet company owner Oliver Holy at IMM Cologne in Germany. After showing him a series of sketches, Guijarro and Ortega spent weeks experimenting with overlapping samples of tinted glass.
