ISUOG Virtual World Congress on Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology, 15-17 October 2021: presentations and awards.

The Ian Donald Gold Medal is awarded annually to a physician-scientist who has made a significant scientific contribution to the advancement of diagnostic ultrasound in obstetrics and gynecology and who has changed the way in which ultrasound is practiced through research or innovation. In 1986, he became a lecturer in obstetrics and gynecology at the university's medical school, and in 1989, he became a senior physician and senior lecturer in obstetrics and gynecology. Professor Simcha Yagel fully deserves this award for his outstanding scientific work, which has resulted in an extraordinary contribution to the advancement of ultrasound in obstetrics and gynecology.
