Abstract

The article presents a case study of a 50-year-old woman presented as a direct admit from the rheumatology clinic for diffuse muscle weakness of 8 months' duration, 40-pound unintentional weight loss, pruritic rash, bilateral joint pains, and dry eyes. His Anti-MDA5 (melanoma differentiation–associated gene 5 antibody)–positive dermatomyositis associated with hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis. His Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) causes hemophagocytosis.
