Editorial: Perspectives on the landscape of immunology from Nikhil Joshi.

Nik is a classically trained immunologist in the field of T-cell activation and memory, and has also become something of an engineer in preclinical mouse models. This month, I'll be kicking off a series of editorials written based on more or less casual conversations I've had with some emerging leaders in the field of immunology. I I think the excitement over the immunology of cancer and its microenvironment has helped catalyse the transition to understanding immunity in at least that transformed tissue.
