Abstract
- This article presents information about the journal "Rural Society." The central focus of this journal is the publishing of current research on rural social issues in Australia and New Zealand. The work of health and social workers is vital to the maintenance of rural and remote towns and communities as they struggle through the economic and environmental strains of the past decade. Such changes are widely predicted to continue, with at times, increasingly savage impacts expected due to climate change.
