A Study of Tourism Publication in Indonesia Using Bibliometric Approach.

Abstract
- Tourism publication in Indonesia continues to develop but is limited to one field. Based on a bibliometric approach, this study aims to visually research mapping and research trends in the field of tourism in Indonesia. This study used secondary data from Scopus with bibliometric approaches. Analyze and visualize data using the VOSViewer program and the analyze search results function on Scopus. This study analyzed 2,485 scientific documents published from 1983 to 2020. According to the research, the Universitas Gadjah Mada and Ginting, N. had the most active affiliated institutions and individual scientists in tourism research in Indonesia. Environmental science; and IOP Conference Series Earth and Environmental Science were the most studied and disseminated outlets of tourism research in Indonesia. There were four category maps of collaborative researchers. Based on the identification of a collection of knowledge generated from over thirty-seven years of publication, this research proposes a grouping of tourism in Indonesia publication themes: Human, E-Commerce, Zoning, Economic Activities, Ecology, and Tourist Activity as HEZEET publication themes.
