Abstract

Rice black-streaked dwarf virus (RBSDV) was identified as the major pathogen causing MRDD in maize ( I Zea mays i ) and dwarfing disease in other cereal crops, seriously threatening crop production in Asia (Bai I et al i ., 2002). Keywords: CRISPR/Cas9; Maize rough dwarf disease; rice black-streaked dwarf virus; ZmGDI EN CRISPR/Cas9 Maize rough dwarf disease rice black-streaked dwarf virus ZmGDI 803 805 3 05/04/22 20220501 NES 220501 Introduction Maize rough dwarf disease (MRDD) is a worldwide disease caused by a virus (Bai I et al i ., 2002; Harpaz, 1959).
