Maldives, India talk about power transmission system.

The government of Maldives and India are in talks to establish a transmission system for the transfer of renewable energy between the two countries. A draft agreement is being prepared for the MoU on the transmission interconnection project, under which a technical team from India will visit the Maldivian archipelago to assess the technical feasibility of the project. Both ministers have proposed 2 MoUs - one on energy cooperation and one on transmission interconnection under the One Sun, One World, One Grid (OSOWOG) initiative. [Extracted from the article]
