Research Guides: Debate Etiquette.

The article offers a guide for evaluating the topics presented at Ebsco Information Services' UK & Ireland Points of View Reference Centre database to enhance the students' ability to read critically, develop their own perspective and write an effective debate on a topic. Topics include the purpose of the Points of View sections of the database such the Overview, Point and Counterpoint, tips on using the Notes tool to make notes about an article, and a guide on judging facts and opinions.
