Abstract
- The article reports that the U.S. exports of scrap paper and forest products declined for the fourth consecutive year in 2021, as the industry struggled to recover from China's reluctance to accept stricter environmental restrictions in receiving countries, and low vessel schedule reliability that has led to jammed warehouses and lost sales. It mentions about imports of mixed paper under its Green Sword policy and expanded those prohibitions to imports of solid paper waste.
