Abstract

The article informs that cyber commentators have given a cautious welcome to a speech by the United Kingdom's attorney general, Suella Braverman, delivered to the Chatham House think tank, in which she set out the government's position on the application of international law to cyber space, in the context of cyber warfare, espionage and other state-backed intrusions. Braverman said it was necessary to focus on unlawful type of coercive and disruptive behaviours.
