Guest Editorial: Special issue on computer vision and machine learning for healthcare applications.

The paper benchmarks the recognition performance on the provided dataset using three state-of-the-art Spiking Neural Networks (SNN) recognition systems. A deep convolutional-recurrent network is first trained on a set of existing face datasets, and then fine-tuned on the TBI dataset via transfer learning.
