Abstract

In this report we discussed about the properties of magnetic nanoparticles which are important for the synthesis of nanoparticles of particular use. Various oxide-based nanoparticles can be synthesized depending on the properties which are needed for their applications. Various methods have been presented that offer control over the size, growth of the nanoparticles. Among the methods reported, hydrothermal method probably offers the most promising method for control and scalability. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
