Abstract

In this technical report, we will discuss several recent developments at BL02B of the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (SSRF), with our focus on I in-situ i capabilities by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS). Compared with TEY mode XAS, the AEY mode XAS obtained from the I m i RAS can further increase the surface sensitivity. After 50 years of effort, near-ambient or ambient pressure X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (NAP-XPS or APXPS) has become a useful tool for studying gas and liquid molecules in environmental science [[1], [3]]. Together with the I in-situ i capability of the APXPS system, the AP I m i RAS can extend the HERED mode XAS for the I in-situ i investigation of electronic structure. [Extracted from the article]
