Abstract
- In the article, the author discusses the move by public libraries in the U.S. to offer technology, space and assistance for telehealth appointments to help people in rural and low-income areas in improving access to medical services and bridge the digital divide in many communities. Also cited are the important components for telehealth programs in public libraries like broadband connection, access to computers, and technologically-competent staff.
