Abstract

We report J-aggregates of a boron dipyrromethene derivative (BDP-Nit) as an H<subscript>2</subscript>S-activatable nano-photosensitizer. The closely packed BDP-Nit in J-aggregates exhibits high selectivity to H<subscript>2</subscript>S over biothiols to produce an active photosensitizer. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
