Abstract
- The article examines scholarly inquiry into literary fiction in the U.S. from 1900 to the 1930s. Topics discussed include Lisa Siraganian's study on the legal concept of corporate personality and its application to the study of works by authors Frank Norris and F. Scott Fitzgerald, Cara L. Lewis' examination of the sculptural aesthetics of author Henry James in "The Golden Bowl" and David A. Rennie's analysis of authorship and publishing during World War I by authors, like Ernest Hemingway.
