Analysis of the main methods for assessing the throughput of controlled intersections.

The high level of provision of the inhabitants of many world cities with cars and the large volume of transportations performed by freight vehicles, in addition to the ability to assess the well-being of the population, leads to a number of transport problems. First of all, these problems will be observed in places referred to as "bottlenecks", which are often formed in regulated areas due to the heterogeneity of the rolling stock and the prevalence of trucks in the general traffic flow. In order to increase the throughput of this kind of sections - controlled intersections, within the framework of this research work, an analysis of the main methods for assessing the throughput of controlled intersections was carried out.
