The article interprets the turning points that organize the literary life of Polish journalism. The starting point is the commonly used turning point of 1989, a division proposed by Kazimierz Wolny-Zmorzyński. Without losing sight of the above references, Darska proposes to employ “micro turning points” to note the ones that significantly influence genre development and the beginning of a new stage in the functioning of journalism today.
