Abstract

Rapid widespread vehicle electrification has incentivized fast chargers to improve their performances. In this article, an integrated-magnetic-based differential-mode Ĉuk rectifier (IM-DMCR) as a universal battery supercharger is introduced. The design challenges associated with the high-power operation of IM-DMCR are outlined, and optimized solutions are presented. A SiC-based full-scale 60-kW experimental prototype for the IM-DMCR is built and tested to verify the design. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
