Abstract
- This study aims to determine implementation in learning using the Pair Check Model viewed from the cognitive domain in students learning achievement on the buffer solution. The population of this study was all students of class XI in the SMA N 1 Kalasan, Yogyakarta. The research sample was taken as much as one class consisting of class XI IPA 1 as many 32 students. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling. The instrument used in this study is test instruments in the form of an objective question instrument (multiple choice) for the cognitive domain. Based on results it can be concluded Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of the pair check learning model provides an average value of a good cognitive domain in the buffer solution material of 86.54. Pair check learning can be used as one of the variations of learning chosen by the teacher to keep the student learning process focused, especially on buffer solution material. Students can familiarize themselves through the Pair Check learning model, to train critical thinking and solve problems through collaborating in pairs by uniting the power of thinking together.
