Abstract
- A biography of novelist and poet Louise Erdrich is presented. Erdrich was born on June 7, 1954 in Little Falls, Minnesota to Ralph Erdrich and Rita Gourneau Erdrich. She entered Dartmouth College in New Hampshire in 1972 and majored in creative writing. She worked a variety of odd jobs after her graduation from college in 1976. Her achievements are mentioned. Her works include "Love Medicine," "The Beet Queen," and "Tracks."
