Marge Piercy.

A biography of poet and novelist Marge Piercy is presented. Piercy was born on March 31, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan to Robert Piercy and Bert Bunnin. She supported herself as well as she could with odd jobs that left for writing after completing her education. Her first six novels were rejected by every publisher to whom she sent them, mostly due to the strident note of feminism. Her first collection of poems, "Breaking Up," was published in 1968. Her novel "Going Down Fast" is also mentioned.
