May Sarton.

A biography of novelist and poet May Sarton is presented. Sarton was born on May 3, 1912 in Wondelgem, Belgium to Belgian science historian George Sarton and English artist and designer Mabel Eléanor Elwes and died on July 16, 1995 in York, Maine. She received her primary education at Shady Hill School in Cambridge and was naturalized as an American citizen in 1924. Her works include "The Single Hound," "The Bridge of Years," and "Shadow of a Man."
