A biography of novelist, poet and historian Marguerite Young is presented. Young was born on August 26, 1908 in Indianapolis, Indiana and died on November 17, 1995 also in Indianapolis. She believed she was destined to be a writer from early childhood. Her career was devoted to writing, as author, teacher, and editor. Her achievements are mentioned. Her works include "Miss MacIntosh, My Darling," "Prismatic Ground," and "Moderate Fable."
