"Black Journey" - The mobile apps development of physics educational game.

Abstract

This study produces educational physics games for mobile apps based on the journey of Joseph Black, scientists in the thermodynamics field. These apps aim to support the medium for learning physics. The study used the research and development method with the ADDIE approach. The steps are analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Physics educational game application, "Black Journey," contains a puzzle-type game consisting of five missions. The award that players will receive is in the form of scores and facts about the life story of the physicist Joseph Black. One part of the reward explained finding the Black Principle related to temperature and heat. This game also discusses another research conducted by Joseph Black. The product assessment by media experts has 90% and by material experts is 97.9%. The Black Journey apps also have a trial on high school physics teachers with a feasibility percentage of 84.72%. The results obtained are in the "very feasible" category. Thus, it can be concluded that The Black Journey apps are suitable for the use of learning companion media. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
