Abstract
- We prove the global existence of strong solutions to the 2D compressible isothermal Navier–Stokes equations with relatively large initial data and the initial density bounded away from zero on periodic thin domains Ω δ = T × δ T , δ > 0 , when the thickness δ is sufficiently small.
