The article reports that Techint Technologies got a Russian steel producer into a pickle in a short time, and both sides are happy about it. The Italian metals industry equipment manufacturer is claiming a record in the startup of the number 1 pickling line at Russia's Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works. Techint says it completed the startup of the line with only a 52-day halt in production while the old line was completely dismantled and the new one erected and put into operation. The new line has the ability to process 2.2 million tons of steel strip per year.
