Abstract
- This paper presents an experimental validation of the Extremum Seeking and Sliding mode-based control for an autonomous PV system under uniform and non-uniform irradiance conditions. The modeling of the PV system and the control MPPTs adopted in this study are fully formulated and then implemented via a DSpace 1104 single card. The experimental setup comprises two cases: a healthy state (case 1) and a shaded state with two selected ratios (15% and 5%), which have been used to carry out the results. The obtained results show notable skills of the ESC-based strategy to extract the maximum power under shaded conditions for all the proposed scenarios. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
