Abstract

The article focuses on the Karibu Stabilization Program, a transitional housing program in Portland, Oregon, that has been specifically designed to support Black men. It is reported that the program has been run by Central City Concern and funded by Care Oregon and Multnomah County. It further provides services such as outpatient counseling, case management, and resources, as well as more intensive support through a residential program where clients can live for up to nine months.
