ISSUES OF GENDER DISCRIMINATION IN SPORTS.

The present study presents aspects related to discrimination and in particular to gender discrimination and its manifestation in the sports field. The most common forms of gender discrimination in sports are presented, the aspects regarding the ways women are discriminated in this field are analyzed, and finally there are listed some of the methods that the author considers to help in reducing or eliminating the manifestation forms of this type of discrimination encountered in sports.
