Abstract
- This paper introduces a novel approach to supply reference inputs to feedback systems. In this approach, modified inputs are used to ensure enhancing the capability of the system to achieve the actual desired inputs. Traditionally, the difference between the reference inputs to a system and the outputs are used to decide the suitable correcting actions. In this paper, modified reference inputs are used to cancel out the steady state error of the system. Accordingly, the control effort is evaluated based on a different set of errors. As a result, more effective control actions are implemented to the system. The results show that, the performance specifications of the systems are remarkably enhanced. The enhancement results obtained, include, much limited bounds of the control effort, smaller delay, enhanced transient response, and zero steady state error. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
