Abstract
- Covid-19 outbreak had a great impact on the demand of ventilator. Thus, researches are concern to find solutions to fulfill the high demand within short time. 3D printing has been one of the promising solutions to build complex structure rapidly. However, to achieve the best quality and optimal production time, further research is needed. In this research, an experiment of 3D printed flow restrictor with various parameters is observed. PLA (Polylatic Acid) is chosen as the filament with 4 responses which are length, inside diameter, outside diameter and printing duration. The experiment is designed based on Taguchi method, since there are 4 responses the PCR-TOPSIS method is used to obtain the optimum parameter setting. Then, the confirmation experiment is required to verify that the parameter is valid and optimal. The result of this research which is the optimum parameter are 225°C nozzle temperature, 75% infill density, and 0,1 mm layer height. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
