Herein, results from studies of the chemical composition and antimicrobial activity of essential oil obtained from the aerial part of I A. virgata i collected during flowering in August 2019 in Ishkoshim District, Republic of Tajikistan, are communicated. Table 1 presents the GC-MS analytical results for I A. virgata i essential oil, in which 38 constituents making up 99.8% of the total oil constituents were identified.
