Abstract

To propose power management for Hybrid Electric Vehicle charging station using renewable energy sources. The design and implementation of the photovoltaic-based charging stations for E-Vehicleis significant in recent days. In the E-Vehicle battery management, DC-DC boost converter is suggested to reduce switching loss. Solar based governing set-up of DC to DC converter is to achieve maximum power point tracking (MPPT). RFID technology will be used to improve electric car charging bulks employing electric vehicle identification, vehicle charging and amount debiting purposes. This paper describes plug-in electric vehicles recharging units in the highways to avoid the car blackouts on the middle of the journey [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
