Abstract

This article examines the factors that influence the entrepreneurial intention of elderly individuals in Vietnam. The study identifies factors such as family support, government policy, self-confidence, and capital as important determinants of entrepreneurial intention. The study uses SPSS software to test its hypotheses and collects survey data from individuals aged 45 to 65. The findings indicate that entrepreneurial experience has the strongest impact on entrepreneurial intention, while the availability of capital does not significantly affect intention. The study suggests that these findings can be valuable for startups and government agencies in promoting innovative business ideas and leveraging the expertise of retired individuals to foster sustainable economic development in Vietnam. However, it is important to note that the study has limitations in terms of sample size and depth of analysis. [Extracted from the article]
