Abstract
- The article discusses a case of dermatitis. The patient has recurrent atopic dermatitis mainly on arms and face from the age of one year. This disease attacks each year in May for few weeks, severe enough to warrant about 20 hospital admissions. Attacks are associated with severe hey fever and start with urticaria. A well as having an atopic dermatitis, aggravated each year by an inhalant allergy to grass pollens, the patient also demonstrates a double sensitivity to lichens comparable to that found in American rag-weed sensitivity.
