Contemporary Developments in the Area of Non-recent Child Sexual Abuse: Moving from What Is Wrong with You and What Happened to You, to What Are We Going To Do About It Now? It found that one in 13 adults reported experiencing CSA, with 9% in total reporting contact CSA and 3% non-contact CSA. The knowledge of child sexual abuse (CSA) - the recognition of its prevalence and the reality of its impact - has been lost and found in repeated cycles within society and perhaps particularly within the field of mental health.
