Face-Lift Operation.

The article presents information on the book "Face-Lift Operation," by John Conley. It describes the classic face lift operation and ways to trace the development of aesthetic facial surgery down the ages. The first three chapters are entitled "Historic Aspects," "Beauty Business and Civilization" and "Beauty Business and Skin Care." The last 5 of the 10 chapters give a clear account, effectively illustrated by line drawings, of the operative technique. The chapter on etiologic factors gives a very sketchy account of age and light-induced changes in skin.
