- Focuses on the four interrelated facets in the concepts of light and dark and the adjective candidus, which had special significance in the elegies of Albius Tibullus. Play involving Tibullus' own nomen Albius; Play on Corvinus, the cognomen of Messalla; Pattern of the concepts and vocabulary of light and dark to reflect Tibullus' changing vision of elegaic existence.
