Abstract
- The article discusses the book "Understanding Emotion at Work." Targeting students studying organizations and management, the book aims to offer these audiences an engaging, critical introduction to emotions in work life. For the most part, the text achieves just that. Organized into two main parts: "Organizing With Emotion," and "Emotional Injuries" the text sets out to examine the manifold ways in which emotions permeate all aspects of organizational life, including the exploration of the darker side of work where emotional injuries have been committed.
