Abstract

Malolos convention is one of the most visited places in Malolos because of the "republika park". In addition, it has become trending, especially on social media, because of the "bancieto" (a term used by the government in booths). The local government unit prepared a developmental plan for small businesses. This study focused on the effectiveness of the developmental plan of Malolos LGU for the small businesses at the Malolos convention. The researchers used a mixed method to interview the city administrator, Mr. Joel Eugenio, to gather specific information about the government's developmental plan and survey the vendors to determine the effectiveness of the plan. Since the researchers need more time, researchers limited their respondents to (20) business owners and (100) customers. Frequency, percentage distribution, and mean statistical treatment were used to analyze and interpret the collected data. As a result of a survey, this study concluded that the effectiveness of the developmental plan of the government for small businesses is very effective for them in reaching sales targets as well as the number of customers. The researchers also determined the customers' satisfaction with their product, place, and promotion, which resulted in overall verbal interpretation being very satisfied. The study concluded that the effectiveness of the developmental plans of the local government will give more opportunities for entrepreneurs and customers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
