Abstract
- The article shows the campaign strategy of former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie by attacking former U.S. President Donald J. Trump to elevate his own stature in the Republican presidential nomination for the 2024 election. It looks back at Christie's endorsement of Trump in the 2016 election and his drifting to the political periphery after Trump chose Mike Pence to be his vice presidential running mate. It takes a look at challenges facing Christie in his return to presidential politics.
