Abstract
- It must be recognized at the outset that many aspects of the relationship between value interiorization and personality formation during the first few years of life remain unexplored. This article seeks to explore how social values become interiorized and organized as part of the personality. It seeks to determine the significant factor involved in the relationship between the interioration process and personality structure. The authors consider the relationships between the interiorization process and parental indulgence and deprivation, the nature of empathic communication, the socialization of the body functions, the identification process and ego development.
