EQUIVALENCE OF PSEUDO-DISCRETE MODULES AND DISCRETE MODULES.

Let M be a left R−module. In this paper, various results pertaining to the equivalence of discrete modules and pseudo-discrete modules are established. Furthermore, a new class of module termed as (CD)₂-module is introduced and certain characteristics of this new class of module, along with its relation with the above mentioned equivalence of discrete modules and pseudo- discrete modules are studied.
