Abstract

The formation quality and performance of the forming parts are directly affected by the process parameters of laser additive manufacturing. Thus optimizing the process parameters is the most effective way to achieve forming quality regulation. For the prediction of forming quality and the optimization of process parameters, it is extremely important to establish a model describing the relationships between accurate high-precision process parameters and formation quality. In this paper, the method of modeling the optimization of process parameters of laser additive manufacturing were summarized and reviewed, the development of the status quo of process system was also analyzed. The principles, advantages, and disadvantages of the method have been discussed for modeling the optimization of process parameters.
