Abstract
- Product branching ratios and thermal rate coefficients for the dissociative recombination of C<subscript>3</subscript>D<subscript>7</subscript><superscript>+</superscript> and C<subscript>4</subscript>D<subscript>9</subscript><superscript>+</superscript> have been measured in the ion storage ring CRYRING. The results for C<subscript>3</subscript>D<subscript>7</subscript><superscript>+</superscript> are believed to be slightly more accurate than those obtained earlier for C<subscript>3</subscript>H<subscript>7</subscript><superscript>+</superscript>. Only the C–C bond breaking channels could be measured for C<subscript>4</subscript>D<subscript>9</subscript><superscript>+</superscript> and were found to be in excellent agreement with earlier data.
