- The article focuses on the challenges related to ethical marketing, cultural integrity, and consumer protection in Hawaii's tourism industry, particularly regarding products labeled as "Made in Hawaii." It discusses the legal framework surrounding "Made in Hawaii," "Hawaii Made," and the need for a similar designation for "Native Hawaiian Made" products to protect indigenous rights that is Native Hawaiian culture and businesses from misappropriation and deception.
