Abstract
- The article explores the changing role of China in the international human rights order. Topics discussed include the dispute between the U.S. and China and the decision of the administration for former U.S. President Donald Trump to withdraw from the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), the significant improvement in Chinese engagement with international human rights law, and the Western perspective on the sovereigntist approach of China to the human rights order.
